THE WINE COUNTRY CIRCUIT offers Obedience, Rally & Junior Showmanship all four days of the circuit and NOHS the first three. Four days of Agility (Host Club - Finger Lakes Kennel Club) with three days including Premiere Classes. CAT tests are hosted by LAKE COUNTRY LURE COURSERS. Health Clinics with Clinicians from Cornell University are offered.

Getting Started In Herding With Canaan DogsYou've Been To The CDCA Herding Test, Now What? Presenter: Shelley Wurst
Meet Shelley Wurst: “I started herding with my first Collie in 1997. A year later, at the Collie Nationals, I was approached and asked to help get other Collie owners started in herding. I have been teaching herding lessons to all herding breeds since. I have successfully competed in AKC, ASCA, AHBA, and ISDS trials, have earned advanced titles and a Herding Championship, and have won High in Trial at the Collie Nationals.
- Host Hotel, Holiday Inn Waterloo/Seneca Fall, Waterloo NY
I am now working with my own 6 month old Canaan Dog puppy and his littermates & mother, and would love to see other Canaan Dog owners herding with their dogs beyond the basic instinct levels. This is a breed with a lot of innate ability!” Shelley may be familiar to some already as she has been sharing the training of her puppy on the Facebook page Canaan Dogs Herding.
