Celebrating 50 Years in the U.S.
In 2015, Canaan Dog lovers celebrate fifty years of Canaan Dogs in the United States at the Canaan Dog Club of America, Inc's National Specialty to be held in Tucson, Arizona.
The cornerstone of the week long celebration will be the National Specialty held in the courtyard of the host hotel on Thursday November 5th 2015. Obedience & Rally and a Canine Good Citizen test will be offered as well. A designated specialty will be held Friday at the all breed Canyons Cluster show.
Annual club member and board meetings as well as various seminars and round table discussions will keep the humans nearly as busy as the dogs.
Following the National Specialty will be four days of supported entries at the Canyons Cluster. The week will end on a fun note for the dogs with a Herding Instinct test and a Barn Hunt.

Annual Club Meetings
As per Article II, Section 1 of the CDCA By Laws, the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Canaan Dog Club of America, Inc. will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 2pm MST at the Hotel Tucson City Center InnSuites, 475 N Granda Ave, Tucson AZ 85701.
- The Board of Directors will meet at the hotel at 9am the same day.
- To help facilitate the meeting, club members are encouraged to submit items for the agenda to the Recording Secretary Melinda Linton to arrive by Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
