2008 Specialty ScheduleTuesday, September 23rd Wednesday, September 24th Thursday, September 25th Friday, September 26th Saturday, September 27th Sunday, September 28th All three Supported Entries offer Schedule Pending/Still Tentative Due to excessive costs, the 2008 Specialty Committee is sorry to announce that we will not be able to offer Herding this year. Specialty Site InformationOur site for the 2008 Specialty is the beautiful Wine Country of upstate New York. The Host Hotel will be the site of our meetings and the Awards Banquet. The show site itself overlooks Seneca Lake at Sampson State Park. Seneca Lake is one of the Finger Lakes and September in upstate New York means autumnal leaves, wine tours, shopping, hiking and important historical locations. All show events (Conformation, Junior Showmanship, Obedience, Rally and Agility) are offered at the same location. In addition, camping is available at Sampson State Park. Hospitality, meetings and the banquet will be located at the Host Hotel (Holiday Inn) in Waterloo, about 10 minutes from the show site. For the Specialty proper, we will be in the Specialty Field of the show site. We will have plenty of room for grooming, crating, ringside hospitality and trophies. There will be ample ringside tenting to provide protection from sun or rain - it is upstate New York in September after all! Please plan ahead! Due to New York State regulations, RABIES CERTIFICATES ARE REQUIRED FOR ANY DOGS BEING BROUGHT ON TO THE SHOW GROUNDS. The State Park Service will not accept Rabies titer reports. Rabies Certificates will be checked as you enter the park. Hotel Reservations, Camping and InformationA block of rooms have been reserved at the following area motel until August 23, 2008.
