2008 CDCA Regional Specialty

The 2008 CDCA Regional Specialty will be hosted by the MidWest Canaan Dog Club, the evening of Saturday, May 3rd, in Jefferson, WI. The Conformation and Junior Showmanship Judge is Prof. Taylor. (All events pending AKC approval.) Sweepstakes at the All Breed show on the day of the 3rd; three All Breed shows are traditionally held that weekend.

I thought everyone would like to know the results of the 2nd regional specialty in Jefferson, Wi on Sat.

We had an entry of 23 dogs with none absent. There were 7 dogs, 8 bitches, 1 veteran bitch, 2 Ch dogs and 5 Ch bitches along with one Junior Showman.

Winners dog - Cherrysh Hosea Prince Rock (Prince). Owner - Cheryl Hennings.

Reserve Winners Dog - "Val".

Winners Bitch - Midsummer Mackenzie (Mackenzie). Owners - Victor & Wendy Sanchez.

Reserve Winners Bitch - Cherrysh Seventh Heaven (Nevaeh). Owner - Cheryl Hennings.

Best Veteran - Ch. Arayl's Magic Springtime CD, RA. Owners - Norma Benett Woolf & Thomas Woolf.

Best of Breed - Ch. Cherrysh Crown of Jewels (Jewel). Owner - Cheryl Hennings.

Best of Winners - Ch. Cherrysh Hosea Prince Rock (Prince).

Best Opposite Sex - Ch. Pleasant Hill Wish Granted (Grant). Owner - Donna Dodson.

Award of Merit - Ch. Mad River Breezes Blowing (Breeze). Owners - Rosette Davila-Sargent & Charles Sargent, MD.

Award of Merit - Midsummer Mackenzie.

Best Junior - Kaitlyn Carlson

We also had a Puppy Sweepstakes during the All-Breed show on Sat.

Best In Sweeps - Pleasant Hill Hava Shirat (Hava) owned by Debbie White.

Best Opposite in Sweeps - Pleasant Hill The Gatekeeper (Tad).

Best Opposite Sex - Grant.

I showed Jewel in the Group and she was Group 4!

We had a nice get together after the specialty at a really nice restaurant that Cathi Oskow found last year.

I will let Victor tell about his Rally wins!

Maybe someone else can fill in the results that I didn't have.
